Rent My Timeshare

If you are looking to rent your timeshare then you will want to advertise it where it will get the most exposure for the least cost. Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer agent services to those wishing to rent their timeshare. We believe there are a few companies who specialize in rentals and do a great job. Therefore our best advice to you is to advertise with them. Additionally, if you advertise with them through the links below, and send us a link to the ad, we will post your listing to our Social Media accounts for FREE to give your ad additional exposure.

Many of our clients like to rent additional weeks to bring friends or family along on their vacations and potential buyers sometimes like to visit the properties they are interested in purchasing. We specialize in timeshare resales, but including a few recommended rental service options is beneficial for our buyers and sellers.

VRBO

VRBO charges the highest fee of $349 for a year subscription, however they offer the most exposure both on the internet and in ads with national newspapers like USA Today. Personally, we have had the most success finding a renter for a timeshare with VRBO. However, the weeks we have rented have been high season weeks so demand was good.  Get one month free by using Coupon Code: 1MONTHFREE

VacationRentals.com

Vacation Rental's fee is $99 - $199 and they still provide good exposure. They are under the Home Away umbrella. We don’t feel this site is as popular as VRBO, however advertising with them will save you in advertising fees and if you own a popular resort with high demand and little rentals available then this may be the way for you to go.

Craiglist. Pros: Ads are free. Cons: A potential renter has to search specifically by area and sort through ads, some that are spam/scams. It’s a bit time consuming and can be viewed as a hassle by potential renters. Additionally, owners must be cautious of scammers. A common scam is to send a check for too much, ask you to cash it and refund the excess. By the time the check bounces and you are notified they have the “refund” and disappear. Bottom line: It’s free so the added exposure won’t hurt you but you must use caution. We wouldn’t rely solely on Craigs List especially if time is limited to get it rented.

WE DO NOT PERSONALLY SERVICE THE AD. POTENTIAL RENTERS WILL BE DIRECTED TO YOUR AD. WE DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH NEGOTIATIONS, FUNDS OR PAPERWORK FOR RENTALS, IT IS BETWEEN THE OWNER AND THE RENTER EXCLUSIVELY. WE DO NOT REPRESENT CLIENTS FOR RENTALS AND WE ARE NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY FOR RENTAL AGREEMENTS BETWEEN PARTIES.
