WHAT RECOMMENDATIONS DO YOU HAVE FOR GETTING MY TIMESHARE SOLD?

If you decide to list your timeshare on our website, there are a few things you can do to help make it sell.

1. Price it right. The most important thing is going to be to start at a list price that will get the attention of buyers. Before putting in your “Listing Price,” please consider that you are receiving this message because there is high supply and very low demand for your resort. This means there are a lot of sellers with the same product, so the only thing that differentiates one to the next is price. Please start very close to the lowest price you are willing to accept. We recommend your starting price be 20%-30% of the price you paid or lower. So, if you paid $10,000, a good place to start is the $2000-3000 range.

Your listing will not be accepted if it is significantly overpriced. We don’t want to miss a single chance we may get to sell it for you. We can not have over-priced inventory on our website or buyers shopping will not bother to inquire on overpriced weeks and will shop elsewhere. Also, we will lose credibility with other brokers looking for inventory for buyers.

2. Write a review about your resort. Write a brief review highlighting the things you and your family like about your resort. You may also write about the activities or places nearby that you have enjoyed. You will find this option on the timeshare listings page. Search your timeshare on our site, click on it to view listings and the click the "Reviews" tab. Submit your review there.

4. Advertise it.  These days almost everyone has a Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest account and those who don't almost certainly have e-mail.  Once posted on our site, you can use the "share" buttons in the grey bar on the left side of the page to send it your family and friends.  You never know who you know, who knows someone, who knows someone else, who wants to buy your timeshare!
